Odd and Ends… What to read when you have so many choices?

Posted by Jenn on July 3, 2007

I find myself again in a bit of a dilemma. Clearly I have plenty of books to choose from when it comes to reading material. All you have to do is look at my TBR page and you can see the long list of choices, but here I sit at my computer trying to figure out what to read next.

Yesterday when I came home from work, my choices grew even more, by four to be exact. I received Safe Harbor by Christine Feehan and Forbidden Pleasures by Lora Leigh from BAMM and I got Tapestry Dreams by NJ Walters and City Heat by Lacey Alexander from EC in print.

You would think with 4 great choices I would be curled up reading and DAMN it I wish I was. I’m almost 100% certain I will read Tapestry Dreams first. I know that I have read both stories before, but there is nothing like reading a book again when it is released in Print. There is just something about it, feeling the pages in your hand can be so rewarding.

After that though who knows what I’ll read next. So many books, so little time.

What are you reading now? Or are you in a reading funk?

I’m about to start a quick series book…THE COWBOY’S SECRET SON by Judy Christenberry. Before that, I finished LUCY’S DOUBLE DIAMOND by Ruby Strom. When I’m in a funk, I usually go back to my keepers…Julie Garwood, Sharon Sala/Dinah McCall, Lynne Graham, Linda Howard, Ginna Gray, just to name a few and reread and/or skim my favorite parts/books until I’m in the mood to grab something out of the TBR again.

I just finished Safe Harbor. It’s fantastic!

Hope you enjoy reading Tapestry Dreams, even though I know you’ve read both books before. 🙂
